CHIANTI MIXED-FLOWER HONEY

We produce mixed-flower honey in Montefiridolfi. It comes from the wild flowers that flourish in the fields and woods surrounding the estate.
It is harvested from April to September and is extracted cold from the hive so as to retain its natural chemical and biological properties.
Our bees belong to the world’s strongest and most productive variety: the typical Italian Apis Mellifica Lugustica bee.The health of these tireless insects that work with method and passion is constantly controlled by our experts, and the result is a quality honey obtained through the most modern breeding and production techniques, carefully adapted to the physiological cycles of the bees.
Our honey was entered in the XXIInd Tuscan Honey Competition 2007 (A.R.P.A.T. Associaation) and won 3rd prize in the mixed-flower category.
